The Proof has Arrived!

After about a week's delay due to weather, I finally received the proof copy of They are my Child. The good news is that the colors look nice and bright in the illustrations. The bad news is that there are a few errors that need to be fixed before I can publish it. I will be making those corrections over the next couple of days, and will then get another proof copy made up to ensure that things look good. This is the annoying part of the process. I want to make sure that my book is 100% perfect before sending it out to anyone, but that means it can take longer than I'd like. Thankfully, I built extra time into the campaign, so there shouldn't be any delays. I just like to get things done early. :)
I'll update you all again once I get the next proof copy. The bookmarks and stickers are all ready to go, so at least that's one less step that needs to be completed. Thank you again for backing this campaign, and if you have any questions, feel free to let me know!
Last Day to get Your Name in the Book!!!

Hello everyone! It is the last day of July (can you believe it?), and that means it's the last day to submit your survey to get your name in the book! Most of you have graciously submitted your surveys already, but there are still a few of you that I am waiting on. If you ordered one of the reward tiers that added your name in the book and don't submit your survey by tonight, I will not be able to include you, sorry.
Tomorrow, I will be sending in the final (hopefully) edit. Once I get that proof back, I will either fix any errors, or send it off to be printed! Of course, I will post an update to let you all know what steps are being done as they happen.

Hello everyone! There is only ONE WEEK left to return your surveys and get your name included in the book if you chose one of those reward options. After that, I will be submitting the final edit to the publisher for the proof copy. I will not be accepting late submissions, sorry. It takes about 2 weeks to get the final proof back, so I can't delay it.
Once that proof is confirmed as being perfect, we'll be in the process of production of the books! I am truly hoping to get these items out to you much earlier than expected, so keep your fingers crossed there aren't any issues. I'll keep updating you as each step happens. Hello everyone! I just wanted to remind you all to please return your Backerkit surveys if you haven't already. I'm still missing about 40% of the surveys at this time. Hello to my amazing backer community! I just wanted to give you all quick update on how things are going. The bookmarks and stickers are complete! They are absolutely beautiful, and the colors are strong and bright. If you haven't ordered them and still want to, you can edit your survey until they get locked.
Speaking of surveys...more than half of you have already returned yours, so thank you! Everyone needs to submit their survey, even if you did a donation instead of purchasing an item. I can't submit the final edit until all surveys are in, so the sooner I get them all back, the faster I can get the book to the printer.
