I am so excited to let you all know that all physical copies of They are my Child (and the add-ons) are on their way to you! If you are in the United States, you should be receiving your book in about a week. If you are located outside of the US, then it will take longer. The digital Ebooks will be sent out in the next few days.

I am so appreciative to each and every one of you for backing this campaign. This will probably be my last update, as all pledges will be fulfilled shortly. Of course, that doesn't mean that this project is over. Feel free to reach out to me at my email address ([email protected]), and keep an eye out for my upcoming book signings! If you want me to come to your area to do a signing, speak to your local bookstores/coffee shops/libraries/etc. and have them reach out to me. I'd love to meet you!

First off, let me apologize for such a long break between updates. I didn't realize how much time had passed, as I was waiting for the proof to be finalized and then ordered the books. Unfortunately, it took a few weeks each time I needed to wait for a new print of the book. 

Now onto the good news...

The books are all here!!!  Yes, I just received the delivery of the books, and they (mostly) look great. As can happen with any print order, there were some color discrepancies on the cover for some of the books. Have no fear, you will not be receiving any of those. Fortunately, I have enough that are correct to get everyone their books out from this shipment. It just means that I will have to order another shipment of books for my in-person sales that will be coming up. 

I will be spending the next week or so getting everything packed up and ready to go. While I was hoping to get the shipping part done earlier, we are still running ahead of schedule from the original timeline.

Final notices have been sent out, so if you need to update your address or credit card information, please do so in the next 24 hours.

Final Proof is in!!!

I know it's been longer than a week, but I've been waiting on this news to arrive so I could share it with you all. The final proof is in and looks good! I'm waiting on just ONE MORE approval to make sure there aren't any issues with the printers, and then it's off to get inked and bound!

I should know the final decision by the end of the week. Keep your fingers crossed, as this has been quite the process. This was my first effort at illustrating a book in this style, and it was a lot more work than I originally expected. Thank you all for hanging in there with me!

I'll update again once I hear back from the printers. Until then, just remember that we're still ahead of schedule by over a month!

Hi everyone!  It took a bit longer than I expected to get the edits made, but the next copy has been sent in for approval. I had to make some changes to how the pictures were laid out, but I think this design works nicely and keeps the flow going. It will be about 2 weeks before I can see the new version in print, so fingers crossed everything is as it should be.

Life has been crazy here with the start of the school year arriving, so my time is becoming more limited. Not to worry, I have plenty of time set aside to make sure this project continues on the path I originally created. Shipping envelopes and labels have been purchased, and the rewards are ready to go. It's all up to the final copy looking good now!

I'll update again once I get the next copy reviewed, hopefully to tell you all that it's ready to print. Thanks for taking this journey with me; sit back and enjoy the ride!
